PeaPea la Plume is a songstress extraordinaire. She is a larger then life drag queen, peacock and robot. She can create a fabulous atmosphere in any event for any ages with a fun interactive walkabout. She also has a hilarious disco show!!
Pea Pea La Plume was made thanks thanks to the Arts Council England’s ‘Developing Your Creative Practise’ grant. I was helped by help of 101 Outdoor Arts Centre, National Centre for Arts in Public Space and with Paka the Uncredable and Rupert of the fabulous Flying Buttresses.
Testimonials!
This is what Jo from Fools Paradise had to say about PeaPea;
‘We have been excited to watch this performance develop and have been impressed with the attention to detail, and care taken, to create a truly unique piece. The animatronics are so detailed and the Peacock character is developing beautifully. We have worked with Natasha for many years and her shows are always well received. We have many clients who have booked her in the past who will welcome a new show and we are confident that there will be a high level of interest from our clients.’
PeaPea lit up the streets of Winchester for December, This is what Rose Slade from Winchester Hat fair had to say;
Having performed at Hat Fair in both solo and double act shows, Natasha is a joy to work with and we were thrilled to hear about Natasha’s new LBGTQ work in progress Pea Pea la Plume. Always looking to support the creation of new work, we have invited her (and Pea Pea) to come and be part of a festive winter walkabout we are producing for the Winchester BID taking place in December 2023.
Here is what Jamie from Newport Splash had to say;I think Robot Peacock Drag Queen would fit the outdoor arts programming of The Big Splash and encourage access to positive and meaningful conversations around the LGBTQIA+ community. There is something intrinsically wonderful about the idea of this being explored through robotics and clowning and I’m excited to bring this to Newport and The Big Splash.
